This v0.2 Policy incorporates and replaces the standalone Cookie Policy (v0.1); cookie disclosures now appear in Section 3.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy describes how Futures Edge Trading, LLC ("Company," "we," "us") collects, uses, discloses, and retains personal information when you use our website at www.futuresedgetrading.com, our web platform at app.futuresedgetrading.com, our in-app community, and related services (the "Services"). The Services are offered in the United States only. By using the Services you agree to this Policy. Contact for privacy matters: info@futuresedgetrading.com, or by mail at 4580 Sedona Ln, Dacono, CO 80514.

2. Information We Collect

Account information: your name, email address, plan (subscription tier), and role. Your password is stored by the Company only as a one-way cryptographic hash using industry-standard password hashing; we do not store plaintext passwords and no third-party authentication provider is used.

Optional Discord username: if you choose to participate in the Company's limited, invitation-only Discord channel for Tradytics data queries, you may disclose your Discord username at signup so we can invite you. Use of that channel is subject to Discord's own terms.

Acceptance records: the Services require you to acknowledge the Company's risk disclaimer at every login, and to accept the Community Rules once per rules version. Each acceptance is recorded and retained indefinitely with the date and time, your IP address, and the version accepted, as evidence of acceptance.

Authentication and session records: we log login events, failed login attempts, and throttle lockouts. For each session we record the session start time, last-activity time, and IP address, and we derive session length; session ends and their durations are journaled. Company administrators can see which members are signed in at a given time, each member's last sign-in, and visit length. Sessions use signed session cookies valid for 12 hours, and one active session per account is enforced (a new login supersedes any earlier session).

Community content: posts and messages you submit to the in-app community appear under a display nickname you choose. Community content is stored in append-only form: when content is "deleted" (by you or by a moderator), it is hidden from members but retained internally as a tombstoned record. Members cannot message each other directly; private direct messages exist only between members and Company staff. Those direct-message threads are retained, persist over time, and may be reviewed by Company administrators; each such administrative review is itself logged. Moderation records concerning your account (content removal, room locks, time-outs) are also retained.

Support correspondence: emails and other communications you send to us, and our responses.

Billing information: none today — the Company does not currently process payments. When billing launches, payment card data will be handled entirely by our payment processor; the Company will never see or store your card numbers, and will receive only limited billing metadata (such as plan, charge status, and refund records).

3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

This section replaces the Company's standalone Cookie Policy.

Strictly necessary cookie: the Services set one signed session cookie used for authentication, session management, security, and entitlement enforcement. It expires after 12 hours. This cookie cannot be disabled without breaking login and paid access.

Infrastructure cookies: our hosting and content delivery provider, Cloudflare, may set cookies necessary for security and traffic management.

Video embeds: the education library embeds videos through YouTube's privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie) and Vimeo's player. These providers may set their own cookies when you play a video, under their own privacy policies.

What we do not use: the Services set no analytics cookies, no advertising cookies, and no cross-site tracking cookies, and use no tracking pixels or SDK identifiers.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, including blocking or deleting cookies; the strictly necessary session cookie is required for login to work.

4. How We Use Information

We use personal information to: provide and operate the Services; authenticate you and enforce entitlements (including single-session enforcement and login throttling); operate and moderate the community; provide support; maintain security, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms and policies; comply with legal obligations and maintain auditable records (including acceptance records, authentication logs, and moderation records); and send service communications. When billing launches, we will also use information to administer subscriptions, renewals, and refunds. We may send marketing communications about our own products, and you may opt out of marketing at any time.

5. How We Share Information

Service providers: hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare); video embed hosts (YouTube, Vimeo) when you play education content; and, when billing launches, a payment processor — in each case to perform services for us under appropriate terms. If you join the invitation-only Tradytics query channel, your participation there occurs on Discord under Discord's terms.

Legal and safety: to comply with law, legal process, or enforceable governmental requests; to enforce our Terms; and to protect the rights, property, or safety of the Company, our users, or the public.

Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, with notice where required.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.

6. Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes above: account records for the life of the account plus the period required for legal, tax, and audit purposes; acceptance records (disclaimer acknowledgments and Community Rules acceptances) and audit logs indefinitely, as evidence of acceptance and of administrative actions; community content in append-only form, meaning tombstoned ("deleted") content is retained internally after removal from member view; member↔staff direct-message threads for as long as they persist plus applicable audit periods; and support records per operational policy. When information is no longer needed, it is deleted or de-identified.

7. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your state of residence, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain processing. Colorado residents have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act; residents of other states may have similar rights under their state laws. To exercise rights, contact info@futuresedgetrading.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law, and you may appeal a refusal by replying to our decision. Note that certain records — including acceptance records, audit logs, and tombstoned moderation records — may be retained despite a deletion request where the law permits or requires retention.

8. Security

We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the data we handle, including encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS via Cloudflare), one-way hashed password storage, role-based administrative access, audit logging of administrative actions, and login throttling with account lockouts. No system is perfectly secure; you are responsible for protecting your credentials.

9. Children

The Services are for adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have done so, we will delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be notified through the Services or by email, with the updated effective date posted. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
